    Manor Drive Secondary Academy is a new school in the north of Peterborough, Cambridgeshire. The school welcomed its first cohort of 120 Year 7 students in September 2022 and is adding a new Year Group each September until full.     As the Academy approaches the introduction of our Key Stage Four curriculum, we are recruiting for an Assistant Headteacher who will oversee Curriculum, Assessment and Raising Standards.

    The successful candidate will provide professional leadership to secure high-quality teaching and learning for all students and the development of the school within an ethos of care and high expectations by thinking strategically, inspiring, challenging, motivating and empowering others and modelling the values and vision of the Academy. 

    We wish to appoint somebody to this post who will play a major leadership role in the school as we continue to raise standards. They must be a good team player, able to work closely with the Headteacher and all other members of the Senior Team.

    • Exam preparation, tracking and accountability

    We are seeking to appoint a Lead Science Technician to join our highly successful team where students are paramount. The post includes organising and supervising other Science Technicians, co-ordinating and preparing resources for teachers within the Science department. The role is busy and varied. The successful candidate will need to be an organised and self motivated individual who has pride in their work and enjoys providing an excellent service. A good Science knowledge is essential. 

    Strong personal qualities such as confidence, integrity and presence are sought in addition to good ICT skills. Consistent and effect communication are required together with the ability to use your own initiative.
