City Athletics Championships
Manor Drive Secondary Academy proudly took 42 students across Years 7, 8, and 9 to represent the school at the City Athletics Championships. We couldn’t be prouder of every student who took part – you represented Manor Drive Academy with commitment, courage, and class.
Year 8 Boys Relay – MDSA came 3rd
Year 8 Boys 100m – Finley W came 1st, running 12.77 seconds
Year 8 Boys Javelin (600g) – Harvey came 1st, throwing 25.28m
Year 8 Girls Relay – MDSA came 5th, timed at 1:04.10
Year 7 Girls 800m – Megan placed 2nd with a time of 2:55
Overall Results – Year 7 Girls – MDSA finished in 5th position
Year 7 Girls 1500m – Lauren came 2nd, time 5:59.19
Year 7 Girls 70m Hurdles – Lauren finished 1st with 12.88 seconds
Overall Results – Year 7 Boys – MDSA finished 5th
Year 7 Boys 200m – Alfie broke the record of 27.3s (set by King’s School in 2019), setting a new record of 27.00 seconds
Year 7 Boys Relay – MDSA came 4th
Year 7 Boys Long Jump – Lennox came 2nd, jumping 4.4m
Year 9 Boys Long Jump – Jacob placed 8th overall out of 16 schools competing
Year 9 Boys Triple Jump – Ryan finished 9th
Year 9 Girls 100m – Holly placed 6th overall, running 14.6 seconds
Year 9 Girls 300m Heat 4 – Yasmin came 1st with a time of 36.54 seconds
Year 9 Girls 300m Final – Yasmin came 3rd, clocking 53.3 seconds
Year 9 Girls Shot Put Final – Winnie took 8th position
